Step one
First, Participants should greet the front desk to receive a trail map and ask to be appointed towards the Discovery Trail. Participants may also ask to have 'Mansion Front Flower Garden' and 'Ebony Grove' Highlighted on their map.
Step two
Make sure you have what you need to stay properly hydrated along the trail, especially during the Summer months. Grab a water from our gift shop, and a hat if your think you'll need one! Thankfully, there are plenty of trees in the forest to keep you shaded along your adventure.
Step three
As you explore the trails, look out for the bright colors of the native flowers, like pollinators do!
Step four
Once you have spotted the flowers that pollinators are most drawn to, take time to get to know them better. What shapes do you notice of the petals and leaves? Are there any pollinators around? Have you seen any of these beings before? Use the extended "Sitting with a Flower" guide to explore deeper.
