Step one
Download and print the Knapp Land Scavenger Hunt activity sheet before visiting the preserve.
Step two
Walk through Knapp Land Nature Preserve and search for the listed geological formations, plant species, and ecological features on your scavenger hunt sheet.
Step three
Check off each item as you find it. Take time to observe details like rock textures, plant adaptations, and signs of wildlife.
Step four
Discuss how the land was formed and why protecting desert ecosystems like Knapp Land is important for wildlife and future generations.
